SUBSTANCE: invention relates to system (1) and a method with exactly one packet (2) of resistors for switching high voltages. System (1) includes switching device (5), which has two contact devices (6), which are located in insulator (9). Contact devices (6) are distanced from each other by insulating gap (7), at that insulating gap (7) can be shunted by movable contact element (8). One contact device (6) is in contact with package (2) of resistors in common housing (4). Housing (4) is formed by direct coating of package (2) of resistors and insulator (9).
EFFECT: technical result is the creation of a mechanically stable system with a reduced amount of insulating gas.
