FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, namely to supports made of sections of a multi-faceted cross-section used for power lines, in cellular communication supports and wind turbine plants, etc. A support made of sections of multi-faceted cross-section, including sections of steel sheets connected to each other in height by bolts, and the sections are connected to each other in height by bolts. Steel sheets are made of a trapezoidal shape and are prone to bending with the formation of facets. On their edges bendings are made, which are connected with bendings of adjacent sheets with bolts. The upper sections are turned and telescopically located over the lower sections, which have cutouts at the place of intersection with the bendings of the upper section sheets. The bolts are set in a place of the overlap of the upper section to the lower section.
EFFECT: support allows reducing steel consumption by 18% and reducing the number of bolts by 40-60%.
