FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation and namely to dynamic pressure measurers in a wide range of pressure and speed of their changes when modeling aerodynamic processes in wind tunnels and shock tunnels. The piezoelectric pressure sensor contains a housing, a cup, in which a sensitive element is located, consisting of a piezoelectric element and a current collector. The cup covers the sensitive element and presses it to the base of the sensor with a force equal to the total force from the maximum possible effect on the sensitive element of static and dynamic pressure. Moreover, the cup is made of a dielectric and covers the lateral surface of the sensitive element along a sliding fit. The body includes a lid with multiple perforations. The second current collector is installed into the front end of the piezoelectric element. The second current collector is connected to an electric exciter of the reverse piezoelectric effect with a small amplitude and frequency close to the frequency of natural oscillations of the piezoelectric element.
EFFECT: invention minimizes sensor inertia and improves measurement accuracy.
