FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of assessing engineering-psychological similarity of control objects. To estimate similarity of objects, recording and analysis of movement characteristics of control levers on target aircraft (AC), for which control similarity is achieved, and on the evaluated control object performing a test maneuver on the target AC with simultaneous registration of movement of the control levers to the autonomous pocket recorder, then the same pilot performs the same test maneuver on the evaluated control object, method includes comparing pilot action distribution profiles on target and evaluated control objects in a certain manner, making a decision on engineering-psychological similarity of compared objects.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of estimating engineering-psychological similarity of control objects and high reliability of forecasting of positive transfer of pilot's skills from basic technical means of preparation (ground simulator, training aircraft) to target aircraft.
