FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering and can be used with machines for grain purification. The centrifugal-inertial air purifier contains a cylindrical housing, a louver separator, a settling chamber, and inlet and outlet pipes. The louver separator is made in the form of a vertical cylinder. The height of the inlet pipe is equal to the height of the cylindrical housing. After the inlet pipe, a semi-circular channel performs preliminary separation of impurities and dust from the air. The curved blades of the louver separator create a vortex-free flow of air in the outlet pipe.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing efficiency of the separation of dust and light impurities from the air, as well as reducing the hydraulic resistance of the air purifier.
