SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and, more specifically, to traumatology, and discloses a method for manufacturing a nanocomposite joint ligament with a coating of a composite biocompatible nanomaterial. Method involves application of auxiliary substance on the surface of the workpiece of the ligament joint implant – water-protein dispersion of carbon nanotubes with subsequent formation of nanocomposite coating by exposure to infrared radiation in wavelength range 0.7–1.2 mcm, with power per unit area of 0.1–0.5 W/cm2.

EFFECT: method allows improving mechanical properties and degree of biocompatibility of a joint ligament implant and can be used for restoring function of an injured ligament of a knee joint, as well as other joints.
