FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to threaded joints of drill pipes. Connection contains nipple (1) and coupling (2) parts, at the ends of which on the external and internal surfaces there are conical threads (3) with a triangular profile of the turn, respectively, and form internal and external thrust assemblies. Top of profile of thread turn is cut relative to initial triangular profile of thread with formation of surface with width of 1.4÷1.6 mm and taper 1:10. Thrust ledges (4, 6) and ends (5, 7) of nipple (1) and coupling (2) parts are located perpendicular to axial thread line. Threads of the nipple and coupling parts have taper of 1:10, pitch of 7.25 mm, angle of inclination of support face 25÷35° and inclination angle of embedded face 35÷45° to normal to thread center line. Profile thread groove has the shape of arc of ellipse made tangent to support and embedded faces of thread turn profile, which major axis is parallel to axis of thread conicity.
EFFECT: higher resistance of joint at action of considerable torque and tensile loads at multiple screwing-unscrewing of threaded joint.
