FIELD: exploration drilling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device used in exploration drilling, and can be used for separation and retention of core samples. The core breaker contains a yoke with windows, a lever with rotary rollers made with a cutting edge at one end and a shank at the other end, and a ring that locks the lever in the yoke windows and is in contact with the lever shank, while the lever is installed with the contact of its shank with the ring along the generatrix the inner surface of the ring. The core breaker contains at least three levers, and each lever is also installed with the contact of its shank with the lower surface of the cage window, while in the section perpendicular to the axis of the rollers, the cutting edges of the lever have a sawtooth shape along the generating arc of the circle, and in the section parallel to the axis of the rollers, cutting the edges of the lever are formed by circular arcs.
EFFECT: reliable gripping and retention of the core with a lever core breaker while increasing the strength of the device.
