FIELD: sampling devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bottom-ground sampling devices and can be used in environmental studies for collecting bottom sediments of any consistency in vertical direction of the ground, undisturbed structure of layers in running and non-running water bodies. The sampling device comprises a hollow rod which is fastened to the lid of the ground-receiving cylindrical body, inside which a piston is located, with the hollow rod being designed in such a way that it communicates with the atmosphere, еhe lower end of the hollow rod is provided with a plug and is located at the level of the lower end of the ground-receiving body and the piston with the central opening is mechanically connected to a flange which is freely movable along the hollow rod. The plug is designed in the form of a rod with a thickening on one end and a thread and a transverse opening on the other one, in which the handle is located.

EFFECT: invention enables rotating the body, which is necessary for the penetration thereof.
