FIELD: chemical, petrochemical industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a converter for carrying out catalytic gas chemical reactions and can be used in chemical, petrochemical and other industries. The converter has a body with means for inputting initial components and withdrawing reaction products, a collector located inside the housing, a reaction space in which a catalyst accommodation device and a thermal element are located. In this case, the thermal element is a sector element containing a pipe extending outside the body and connected to the manifold. Moreover, more than one heat pipe is connected to the collector, both in the radial direction of the body and along the coaxial circumferences of the body.
EFFECT: invention enhances converter reliability and efficiency and improves quality of the resulting product.
