SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic suspensions for vehicles. The superconducting electromagnetic device has superconducting electrical windings located in a cryostat. Moreover, the first part of the superconducting electric windings is located in the horizontal plane with a gap equal to the pole pitch. The second part of the superconducting electric windings is arranged in pairs in the gaps between the superconducting electric windings of the first part in such a way that they create oppositely directed magnetic fields with magnetic moments at an acute angle to the magnetic moments created by the superconducting electric windings of the first part.

EFFECT: invention increases the energy efficiency of the superconducting electromagnetic device.
