FIELD: power tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a power tool. The power tool contains a housing, an electric motor, an output shaft, a first mechanical transmission, a second mechanical transmission, a common sensor, a torsion detector, and a vibration load detector. The common sensor measures the movement of the housing and outputs a measured signal indicating the measured movement. The torsion detector detects the torsion movement of the housing in the circumferential direction of the output shaft by the measured signal. The vibration load detector detects the vibration of the housing in the axial direction of the output shaft by the measured signal and determines the load on the output shaft by the received vibration.
EFFECT: as a result, the twisting of the main housing of the power tool in the circumferential direction of the output shaft is determined and the load on the output shaft of the power tool is determined without increasing the size of the power tool housing.
