FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a multilayer car windshield 1 and an apparatus for collecting video data from a camera. The glass includes two glass sheets - outer 4 and inner 5, connected by an insert 6 formed by a thermoplastic material with a refractive index n1. Said windshield is equipped with an opening 8 passing through at least one of said glass sheets and preferably passing through said insert. There is an optical apparatus 2 in said opening, wherein said apparatus is designed to deflect the light beam 3 arriving at the surface of the windshield facing outward from the car, essentially horizontally, and its convergence almost without change to the apparatus 7 for collecting video data from the camera, such as a CCD or CMOS detector, located opposite the surface of the windshield facing the passenger compartment of the car. Said detector is located essentially parallel to the surface 13 of said windshield.
EFFECT: reduced black surface present on the windshield for separation or masking of ADAS cameras located behind the glass.
