SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of special wood products, namely to manufacture of structural elements of decorative wood products, and can be used both in mass manufacture of such products and in singular or small-scale manufacture thereof. The technical result is achieved by the method for manufacturing structural elements of a decorative wood product by sequential sawing along the length of a block of glued together pre-dried boards or lumber of the same type with planed wide sides is notable in that the boards are made of fossil fumed oak and are placed in the block so that each board differs from the adjacent one by the duration of stay of the fossil raw material whereof the board is made in water before extraction thereof from the bedding environment during production. One of the possible variants of the method of manufacture of structural elements of a decorative product made of wood is notable in that the structural element produced by sawing a block is additionally sawn laterally into separate fragments. Another possible variant of the method is notable in that several blocks produced by sawing a block of boards glued together are glued to each other by the wide sides thereof, wherein the produced block of several structural elements is then sawn laterally into separate fragments.
