SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a road train. The road train combination has a controlled truck tractor (2; 14; 21) with a drive axle (6; 15) in combination with a vehicle coupled to the truck tractor (2; 14; 21). The axle (9; 12; 17; 25) of the vehicle coupled to the truck tractor (2; 14; 21) is made in the form of a drive module and a periodically driving axle. The drive module has a drive unit (28), which, due to the control unit (29), depending on a certain status of the driving mode and a certain drive requirement of the road train combination (1), is designed for automatic adjustment and time-limited connection. The drive unit (28) of the drive module has an electric motor (29), which is located directly on the drive axle (9; 12; 17; 25), and the power supply together with the signal connection is carried out through the plug connection from the truck tractor (2; 14; 21). Depending on the driving mode with variable power, the drive module can be connected automatically or individually manually.

EFFECT: improved traction, driving dynamic and longitudinal dynamic properties of the road train combination are achieved.
