FIELD: protective surfaces.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for installing a lining and a device for installing it, which can be used in lining of a mill. The method includes the following steps: (a) holding the mounting bolt ((211) at least partially in the opening of the lining (201) continuing through the lining (201) of the mill (202), (b) placing the mill lining (201) relative to the mill body (202) so that the holding mounting bolt ((211) is aligned with the opening of the mill body (202) continuing through the mill body (202), (с) selectively connect the extraction too (213) to the fixing bolt (211), (d) separate the fixing bolt (211) from the lining (201) using the extraction tool (213), (e) pull the fixing bolt (211) through the opening of the mill housing (202) so that at least part of the fixing bolt (211) protrudes beyond the mill housing (202), and (e) fix the fastening element (214) on the fixing bolt (211), thereby attaching the mill lining (201) to the mill (202). The lining mounting system comprises a mounting bolt (211), a holder that keeps the mounting bolt (211) inside the opening of the lining (201), with the mounting bolt (211) aligned with the opening of the mill body (202) continuing through the mill shell (202). Also, the lining installation system includes an extraction tool (213), which, when used, is inserted through a hole in the mill body (202) on the outside of the mill body and selectively connects to the mounting bolt, thereby allowing the mounting bolt (211) to be separated from the holder and pulled through the hole of the mill body (202) so that the end of the mounting bolt (211) protrudes from the hole of the mill body (202), and the mounting element (214), which, when used, is attached to the mounting bolt (211), thereby attaching the mill lining (201) to the mill (202).

EFFECT: method and system for installing the lining provides an increase in the safety of work on replacing the lining in mills.
