SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to the irrigation of woody fruit and ornamental crops, berry and ornamental shrubs, grapes. The jet-pit irrigation method consists in drilling water intake holes, filling them with drainage material, supplying water or nutrient solution through the water outlets to the water intake holes. Water inlets are drilled along the row of irrigated plants. The supply of water or a nutrient solution is carried out by means of a distribution hose with branch pipes, at the end of which there are water outlets. The water intake holes, depending on the mechanical composition of the soil, are made with a diameter of 15 to 30 cm at an equidistant distance from 0.5 to 1.5 m on two opposite sides of the irrigated plants. The frequency of the location of the water inlets along the row is determined from 1.5 to 3 m. The depth of the water inlets is made from 40 to 80 cm, crushed stone is laid in the lower part as a drainage material, leaving 20 cm to the soil surface, which are then filled with sawdust.

EFFECT: invention provides a uniform supply of water or nutrient solution directly to the active root zone of plants and the exclusion of freezing of the active part of the root system of irrigated plants during deep watering.
