A method for manufacturing an electret material based on a fluoropolymer includes applying a fluoropolymer membrane to a metal electrode, synthesizing vanadium-containing structures on its surface by sequentially treating the polymer matrix with vanadium oxychloride vapor, drained carrier gas, then water vapor, then, drained carrier gas again, and electretting the fluoropolymer membrane in a positive corona discharge.
