SUBSTANCE: magazine-case contains two channels for feeding cartridges and holds twice the number of cartridges compared to the standard magazine for the AK-74. In the front part, the magazine-case is closed by a flat, completely sliding down front cover, which is fixed in the closed state with a latch. The cartridge feed mechanism consists of a power tension spring connected to a movable block through which a flexible cable is thrown, the upper end of which is fixed on the upper wall of the magazine-case, and the lower end is thrown over fixed blocks and connected to the handle for tensioning the spring.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing the reloading time of the weapon, reducing the time for equipping the magazine with cartridges, increasing the storage time of the magazine in the loaded state.
