SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a double-acting system and a device for generating energy. The device contains a structure (12), pipes (20, 22) of the primary and secondary flow, respectively forming the first and second flow channels through the structure (12), a turbine with a generator installed with the possibility of rotation by the flow of water from the second channel. The channels are made for bidirectional flow. The pipe (20) comprises a tapering section, a mixing chamber, and a diffuser section connected to the second end of the mixing chamber. The tapering section is connected to the first end of the chamber to form a Venturi tube between them. The pipe (22) has a hole for connecting the second channel and the mixing chamber. The device contains a device for controlling the direction of water flow from the second channel through the opening into the mixing chamber. Water flowing from the first direction flows into the chamber from one end of the structure (12), and water flowing from the second direction flows in from the opposite end. The device is designed to block the flow along the entire length of the second channel and control the direction of water, so that all water entering the pipes (20, 22) exits through the pipe (20).

EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at improving efficiency of turbines designed to operate in a flow coming from different directions.
