FIELD: surface treatment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to surface treatment of parts by surface plastic deformation in containers and can be used for finishing and hardening treatment of parts of any shape. The installation for finishing and hardening processing of parts contains a base on which stands are installed with a vibration platform installed on them with a table and amplifiers and a settling tank. The container is fixed to the vibrating platform table by means of fasteners in the form of a square beam with holes. The container is rigidly fixed to the beam. Studs are inserted into the holes with clamps fixed from below, located between the amplifiers of the vibration platform. In the bearing assemblies fixed on the walls of the container, there is a shaft for fastening the tooling, which consists of rocker arms and spacers and is designed to install the workpieces to be processed. A swing mechanism with an overrunning clutch is installed on the shaft. The settling tank consists of several compartments, each of which is divided by partitions of different heights. A pump, a valve and branch pipes are installed on the settling tank. The container is equipped with branch pipes for supplying and draining the working fluid. Method for processing parts using the specified installation is presented.
