FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, direct current generators, and can be used as a direct current source for any technical means. The generator consists of two armatures mounted on one shaft with a longitudinal offset relative to each other, made of sheet electrical steel and having two sidewalls with segments around the circumference, which form poles and inserts fixed between them. Cores are fixed on the stator by metal non-magnetic inserts, consisting of packets of rings made of sheet electrical steel with windings located on them. In front of the armature, there is a grating with isolated graphite brushes attached to it, adjoined to slip rings, isolated on the armature. The shaft with its ends rests on rolling bearings, which are located in the bearing units of the stator end caps. In the middle part of the stator there is a hole for installing a blower fan, and there are holes for air discharge on the edges. A battery is required to excite the armatures at the time of start.
EFFECT: provided is regulation of direct current when the load changes.
