SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry, it can be used for automatic protection of equipment and pipelines with liquid and gaseous chemical and oil working media in the event of an emergency pressure change. The pressure-operated ball valve contains a case with a working cavity, a gate with a rotary mechanism, and a valve actuator including a pressure spring and a movable rod. The movable rod has at least one section of reduced or increased diameter and is connected to the self-cleaning gate by means of a stopper and a locking lever containing a short arm that engages the stopper and a long arm that engages the movable rod by input and output at a section of reduced or increased diameter. The locking lever is equipped with a balancing spring.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the accuracy of the valve operation, preventing the possibility of incomplete opening of the gate, the independence of the valve operation from the backpressure, the ability to check the settings without stopping the process.
