FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pumping units (hereinafter – PU) used for pumping liquids, mainly fuel, to provide power plants of aircraft. PU contains a centrifugal pump (hereinafter – CP) and an ejector pump (hereinafter – EP) installed coaxially in front of the CP. The EP consists of a nozzle with multiple orifices and a confuser, a mixing chamber, and a diffuser arranged sequentially along the liquid flow. The confuser and the diffuser are made of a curved shape. The orifices in the nozzle are made in the form of a choke, consisting of jets evenly arranged as close as possible to the axis of the nozzle. The high-pressure liquid is supplied in the center of the nozzle, and the low-pressure supply is perpendicular to the axis of the CP.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the efficiency of pumps while reducing the size and weight of the PU.
