FIELD: coke industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of coal processing, particularly to production of thermal energy and coke from coal for metallurgy and other branches of industry. The thermal oxidative coal carbonisation unit comprises a coal bunker, an ignition chamber with secondary blast nozzles and a combustion product discharge channel, and a thermal oxidative carbonisation chamber, installed in series, separated by a dividing screen and located above the direct passage bar grate with a coal layer height regulator at the input and below the primary blast bar grate, a coke sustaining chamber and a conveyor for unloading and cooling coke. The walls of the chambers therein are made coolable in form of screens closed from the outside with thermal insulation and closed by brick lining from the inside, but only in the thermo-oxidative carbonisation chamber and in the upper part of the coke sustaining chamber.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention is increased yield of coke, quality of coke, efficiency and reliability of the thermal oxidative coal carbonisation unit.
