SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hoisting apparatuses. The apparatus is comprised of a body (1), a hoisting rope (2), a rope drum (3) connected to the body, wherein the first end of the hoisting rope (2) is fixed on said drum, and a hoisting element lifted and lowered by means of the hoisting rope (2). The hoisting apparatus additionally contains a fastening apparatus (5) for the second end (2-2) of the hoisting rope (2) containing at least one section wherein a spiral groove (15) surrounding this section is made, wherein the part of the hoisting rope (2) adjacent to the second end (2-2) enters the groove surrounding this section. The hoisting apparatus additionally comprises a fastening system (6) attaching the second end (2-2) of the hoisting rope (2) to the fastening apparatus (5) preventing the second end (2-2) from being pulled out from the fastening apparatus (5).

EFFECT: wider choice of material suitable for use is provided.
