THERMALLY TREATABLE COATED ITEM WITH IR EMISSION-REFLECTING TITANIUM NITRIDE-BASED LAYER(S) Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC C03C17/34

Abstract RU 2750788 C2

FIELD: glass.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coated items usable for glazing. The proposed coated item includes a coating applied to a glass substrate. The coating therein contains: a first dielectric layer containing silicon nitride; a first IR emission-reflecting layer containing titanium nitride on a glass substrate over at least the first dielectric layer; a second dielectric layer containing silicon nitride on a glass substrate over the first IR emission-reflecting layer containing titanium nitride; a second IR emission-reflecting layer containing titanium nitride over the second dielectric layer; a third dielectric layer containing silicon nitride over the second IR emission-reflecting layer. The coated item therein has, on measurement as a monolith: the visible light transmission coefficient from approximately 12 to 70%, the visible light reflection coefficient from the side of the glass no more than approximately 16%, and the colour value a* on reflection from the side of the glass from -10 to +1.6. Also disclosed is a method of manufacture of the described product.

EFFECT: technical result is improved optical properties, particularly a provided combination of acceptable transmission of visible light, the required color in reflection, a low SF level, a low SHGC level and a high LSG level for a coated item used in windows.
