FIELD: rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket technology and deals with large-sized folding aerodynamic surfaces of an aircraft. The system includes the moving and fixed parts of the aerodynamic surface and the mechanism of their folding. The folding mechanism contains a telescopic rotation loop and two power drives. The rotation loop is formed of two bases and a guide track. The first power drive is fixed with one end on the moving part of the aerodynamic surface, and the second end on the guide track. The second power drive is fixed with one end on the fixed part of the aerodynamic surface, and the second end on the guide track. The bases and the guide track are hollow profile arcs. On the moving part of the aerodynamic surface, one end of the first base is rigidly fixed. Its opposite end is located at the first end of the guide track. On the fixed part of the aerodynamic surface, one end of the second base is rigidly fixed. At the opposite end of it, the second end of the guide track is placed. The ends of the bases that are not fixed to parts of the aerodynamic surface, and the ends of the guide track are made with stroke limiters.
EFFECT: simpler design making aerodynamic surface part connection easier.
