SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geophysics and can be used in the processing of seismic data. The method and system of seismic data processing are described. The method includes the following steps: obtaining the original single-track seismic data; applying the Fourier transform and the Gilbert transform, respectively, to the original single-track seismic data to obtain the result of the Fourier transform and the result of the Gilbert transform; obtaining, for each frequency set for processing in the specified frequency range, the processing result for this frequency corresponding to the original single-track seismic data, the result of the Fourier transform and the result of the Gilbert transform; and getting the output result based on the processing results corresponding to all frequencies in the frequency range specified for processing. In accordance with the present invention, data loss in the low-frequency part of the range that occurs due to the limited frequency range of commonly used data collection equipment can be effectively compensated, and the frequency range of seismic data can undoubtedly be uniformly expanded. As a result, the resolution of the seismic data can be significantly improved. At the same time, it is possible to avoid distortion of the waveform that occurs due to the expansion of the frequency range, and the kinematic characteristics of the seismic wavelet will remain unchanged.
EFFECT: loss of data at low frequencies associated with bandwidth limitations in traditionally used data acquisition equipment is compensated, and the resolution of seismic data is clearly improved, which is the technological basis for performing further seismic data conversion, image processing, and interpretation.
