FIELD: thermoplastic materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermoplastic materials that can be used to mark the roadway with asphalt concrete pavement. Thermoplastic material for road and airfield marking includes polyester resin with 40% terephthalic acid, rutile titanium dioxide, additionally contains an additive in the form of boric acid and marble chips in the following ratio of components, wt. %: polyester resin 60, titanium dioxide rutile 10, boric acid 10, marble chips 20.
EFFECT: improving the performance of thermoplastic as a road marking material, namely: increasing its hardness, reducing the intensity of the wear of the marking and increasing adhesion between the marking and asphalt.
