SUBSTANCE: invention relates to load-gripping apparatuses adapted for use with lifting mechanisms, including traverses, for gripping, lifting, lowering and moving loads of any dimensions. The load-gripping apparatus contains a plate (1), an elongated gripping element (2) located in the first hole of the plate (1) and rigidly connected thereto. The plate (1) has a second (4) hole and a third (5) hole, located on opposite sides from the gripping element (2). A locking element (6) movable along the gripping element (2) is located in the holes (4) and (5). One end of the gripping element (2), located on one side of the plate (1), is T-shaped.

EFFECT: possibility of quick connection of the load-gripping apparatus with the moved load is provided, excluding the possibility of spontaneous disconnection thereof from the moved load, reliability of connection of the load-gripping apparatus with the moved load is increased.
