FIELD: amusements.

SUBSTANCE: system (12) for managing amusement ride includes central controller (22) made with the possibility to synchronize the movements of individual groups (52) of ride vehicles of an amusement ride along track (20). Each of individual groups (52) of the amusement ride vehicles includes multiple separate vehicles (16) for the amusement ride that are not connected to each other and form virtual train (52). Each virtual train (52) is assigned one or more schedules that have multiple expected positions along track (20) and multiple expected time stamps. Each expected time stamp from multiple expected time stamps is associated with the corresponding expected positions from multiple expected positions. The system (12) for managing amusement ride also includes multiple vehicle controllers (33). Each vehicle controller (33) of the multiple vehicle controllers (33) is communicatively connected to corresponding individual amusement ride vehicle (16) of multiple individual amusement ride vehicles (16). Each vehicle controller (33) is configured to control the speed of the corresponding individual vehicle (16) of the amusement ride along track (20) based on at least one or more schedules.

EFFECT: technical result is synchronizing the management of an amusement ride.
