SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems and methods for enhancing and/or improving oil recovery using an undivided broad fraction of light hydrocarbons. A method for enhancing or improving oil recovery includes injecting a broad fraction of light hydrocarbons (hereinafter – BFLH) to enhance oil recovery through an injection well into a hydrocarbon-containing reservoir to ensure mobility and displacement of hydrocarbons. The BFLH for enhancing oil recovery contains an unfractionated mixture of hydrocarbons, which is a by-product of condensed and demethanized hydrocarbon flows, which can be mixed with hydrocarbons in a hydrocarbon-containing reservoir. The unfractionated mixture of hydrocarbons contains ethane, propane and butane in an amount of at least 75% of the volume. The unfractionated mixture of hydrocarbons contains a fraction of “pentane and heavier hydrocarbons” in an amount of less than 30% of the volume. The unfractionated mixture of hydrocarbons is condensed from the hydrocarbon flow at a temperature of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. The method also includes injection of a fluid medium to control the mobility of the displacing agent through the injection well into the hydrocarbon-containing reservoir to block the movement of BFLH to enhance oil recovery from the injection well to the producing well. The method includes production of hydrocarbons through the producing well. A system for injection and production using BFLH to enhance oil recovery is also described.
