FIELD: metallurgy, composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely, to a method for producing a carbon-graphite composite material impregnated with a melt of a matrix aluminum alloy. Vacuum degassing of a porous carbon-graphite billet is carried out for 5-7 minutes. A galvanic coating is applied to it, made of sequentially applied inner nickel, intermediate zinc and outer copper layers. The chamber for impregnation is filled with a melt of a matrix aluminum alloy. A carbon-graphite billet with a galvanic coating is placed in a filled impregnation chamber and the porous billet is impregnated with a matrix aluminum alloy melt under the influence of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of the melt when heated at least 100°C above the liquidus temperature of the matrix aluminum alloy melt. Vacuum degassing is carried out in an aqueous solution of a nickel electrolyte containing 140 g/l of nickel sulfate, 50 g/l of sodium sulfate, 30 g/l of magnesium sulfate and 20 g/l of dry boric acid. Filling of the mentioned chamber with the melt of the matrix aluminum alloy is carried out by 2/3 and kept at a temperature 15-20°C below the liquidus temperature of the matrix aluminum alloy.

EFFECT: quality of composite materials is improved.
