SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to agriculture. The plow device for plowing the soil comprises a supporting structure, a first rotatable and in the form of a cutting plate cutting element with an envelope of the first cutting edge and a second disc-shaped cutting element with a second cutting edge, which are made with the possibility of being driven into rotation during plowing by means of a seam. The first cutting element is located on the supporting structure and is made in such a way that when the supporting structure moves along the soil in the direction of plowing, the lateral part of the soil layer is cut off by the first cutting zone of the first cutting edge. The second cutting element is located on the supporting structure and is made in such a way that when the supporting structure moves along the soil in the direction of plowing, the lower part of the soil layer is cut off by means of the second cutting zone of the second cutting edge. The second cutting element is located in the plowing direction relative to the first cutting element such that the second cutting zone in the plowing direction is located in front of the first cutting zone. The plowing device contains a blade, which in the direction of plowing is located on the supporting structure behind the first cutting zone of the cutting element. The dump has a transport surface along which the layer is transported after separation from the soil. The conveying surface is made vaulted in such a way that when the formation moves along it, it turns around. The method for plowing the soil, in which the following steps are performed: movement of the supporting structure along the soil in the direction of plowing; cutting off a side portion of the soil layer with a first cutting zone of a first cutting edge of a first disc-shaped first cutting element disposed on the supporting structure; cutting off the lower part of the soil layer by the second disc-shaped cutting zone of the second cutting edge of the second cutting element located on the supporting structure. In the direction of plowing, the second cutting element with its second cutting zone precedes the first cutting zone of the first cutting element. Further, the layer is transported after separation from the soil along the transporting surface of the dump, which in the direction of plowing is located on the supporting structure behind the first cutting zone of the first cutting element; moreover, the transporting surface is vaulted in such a way that the layer turns around when moving along the transporting surface.
EFFECT: reduced tractive effort.
