FIELD: biology.
SUBSTANCE: circulation of water is carried out along a circuit having two channels located one above the other, connected by an airlift, during which the water is enriched with oxygen and the water enriched with oxygen is poured into the upper channel. Then the water moves along the upper channel and is supplied to the mechanical filtration zone. In the process of mechanical filtration, part of the water is removed from the system with mechanical impurities. Then the water enters the lower channel, the central part of which is filled with bio-loading, where biological water purification takes place - ammonia and ammonium ions decompose to nitrates, the concentration of which is reduced by adding fresh water, while compensating for water losses during mechanical filtration. After biological treatment, the water enters the ultraviolet treatment zone, where the water is disinfected with ultraviolet radiation. Then the cycle is repeated, while throughout the entire cycle the flow of water is carried out at a constant cross-sectional area of the channels, in a laminar mode at atmospheric pressure.
EFFECT: method provides for the cultivation of aquatic organisms at low costs for water circulation.
