FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of construction. The proposed brickwork is used in the construction of brick structures in seismically hazardous areas, for buildings with hazardous industries, as well as for warehouses with explosive materials. Reinforced brickwork containing layers of bricks laid on cement mortar, as well as a grid placed between the layers of bricks, laid using the zigzag pattern along the height of the masonry, and on the sides of the masonry there are additional grids vertically connected to the grid laid between the layers of bricks.
EFFECT: when force is applied in the horizontal plane to the proposed masonry, the side grids prevent the bricks from falling out, which in turn significantly reduces the risk of injury to people.
