FIELD: packaging materials.

SUBSTANCE: polymer film material and the method for its production relate to the field of creating packaging materials and can be used in the food, processing industry and households for packaging products. The polymer film material is made of an extruded melt of a mixture of low-pressure polyethylene and linear low-density polyethylene, subject to monoaxial orientation with simultaneous gluing of the sleeve, and the polymer film material consists of 5 layers, and the content of linear polyethylene in the melt of the mixture is from 5 to 20, wt. %. The method for production of the specified polymer film material consists in blowing the sleeve from the extruded melt of a mixture of low-pressure polyethylene and linear low-density polyethylene using screw extruders and a blow head, followed by monoaxial orientation, while the sleeve is glued during orientation, and thermal fixation of the resulting film material, and the content of linear low-density polyethylene in the melt of the mixture is from 5 to 20, wt. %. The objective of this technical solution is to create a polymer film material for food packaging, which provides, while maintaining physical and mechanical properties, high-speed cutting and stable operation of high-speed packaging machines.

EFFECT: obtaining a polymer film material for food packaging with a high coefficient of residual bending and twisting deformation due to the uniform distribution of physical and mechanical properties over the entire area of the web.
