Palpation or ultrasound scanning determines the densest areas of muscle fibrosis. A solution of tizol is applied to the skin in the area of fibrosis. After 5 minutes, the contractubex gel is applied. The surface of the spastic muscle with fibrosis is irradiated using the Mustang-2000 laser therapy device, with a LOK 2 laser nozzle for 1-2 minutes. After irradiation, a vacuum laser massage of the muscle is performed, lasting 3 minutes. Also, the scalp and paravertebral zones are irradiated in the lumbar and cervical thickening of the spinal cord along the posterior median meridian. From 6 to 15 sessions are prescribed.
EFFECT: method provides a non-invasive, controlled reduction of pathological tone in paretic muscles, elimination of connective tissue fibrosis of muscles and, consequently, minimization of joint contractures, prevention of secondary spasticity and tendon retraction.
