FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention constitutes a method for producing an agent in form of an extract of dry cones of Norway spruce, with an anti-inflammatory effect, produced by means of extraction of crushed spruce cones with water at a ratio of 1:30, evaporation and release from the inactive fraction by rapid cooling, settling of the evaporated extract at a temperature of -18°C for 15 minutes, separation of the supernatant and evaporation, followed by drying the produced extract.
EFFECT: invention allows producing a low-toxic agent exhibiting pronounced anti-inflammatory activity.
