DUAL-CHANNEL ADAPTER Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC F28D7/00 F28D7/10

Abstract RU 2756967 C2

FIELD: heat engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering and can be used in two-channel adapters of heat exchangers, the heat exchange surface of which is made of two-pipe heat exchange elements with two-way heating of the working medium. Heat exchangers can be used in chemical, energy and transport power engineering, in marine nuclear steam generating plants and nuclear power plants with a water-water reactor under pressure. The invention consists in creating an effective two-channel adapter due to the fact that a collar with a cylindrical surface is installed coaxially to the housing on its outer surface in the area between the holes with an inclination relative to the axis of the housing, and the holes made at an angle to the axis come out to the side surface of the housing on different sides of the collar, and the channel providing circulation of the heating medium has a diameter smaller than the channel providing circulation of the heated coolant in proportion to the washed surfaces.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the adapter.
