FIELD: polymers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of a new chlorine-containing diepoxide - di[1,2-carboxy-(2,3-epoxy-propane)]4-chloro-benzene as a monomer for synthesis of epoxy polymers. Diglycidyl ether of 4-chlorophthalic acid has the formula: . The purpose of the invention consists in expanding the range of monomers with reactive end epoxy groups and polymers produced based thereon with a predetermined complex of required properties and working under the impact of various external conditions.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of producing epoxy polymers with high values of fire, heat and thermal resistance, preserving good dielectric characteristics in a wide range of temperatures and frequencies, well-soluble in standard organic solvents, and processable on existing serial technological equipment.
