FIELD: medical and rescue equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of methods and devices for saving life, namely, methods for controlling the release of oxygen from a regenerative cartridge and can be used to assess the exhaustion of the oxygen release capacity of a regenerative cartridge when using an insulating breathing apparatus. The method for monitoring the development of the regenerative cartridge consists in gluing one end of a rubber tube with a diameter of 6 cm and a length of 4 cm to the breathing bag at the installation site of the overpressure valve, fixing the meter to the tube with a clamp, placing the counter impeller through the hole inside the tube and measuring the volume of the released gas-air mixture.
EFFECT: increased reliability of monitoring the development of the regenerative cartridge and the safe operation of the insulating breathing apparatus.
