FIELD: communication devices.

SUBSTANCE: modular communication device (1) contains: main element (3) containing control unit (6) and N bidirectional electrical control inputs-outputs (9); sequence of modular elements (2) containing interface (11, 14) of uplink connection, containing sequence of N uplink input-output terminals (10, 17) located in places forming a predetermined circuit, interface (12, 13) of downlink connection, containing sequence of N downlink input-output terminals located in places forming the same predetermined circuit. The modular communication device contains set of bidirectional electrical connections (16, 19) connecting the uplink input-output terminal to the downlink input-output terminal in such a way that to form a cyclic permutation between positions of uplink (10) and downlink (18) input-output terminals electrically connected in pairs, in which one of electrical connections is local control connection (40) connected to electronic communication module (20). Modular elements (2) are connected to each other by means of uplink (11) and downlink (12) connection interfaces.

EFFECT: providing standardized connection between various modular elements.
