FIELD: gas-liquid medium separation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of separation of a gas-liquid medium, mainly to separators for separating liquid media having different specific gravity, and for separating from these liquids during their separation of the gaseous medium contained therein. A liquid-gas separator containing a housing, a vertical dividing wall installed in the housing with the division of the latter into inlet and outlet sections, communicating with each other in the upper part of the housing, gas-liquid mixture inlet pipeline installed in the inlet section so that the outlet section of the pipeline is located below the upper edge of the vertical dividing wall, outlet pipes for gaseous medium, light liquid fraction, heavy liquid fraction and louvred package installed in the outlet section of the separator, an overflow baffle installed between light liquid fraction and heavy liquid fraction outlet pipes, and the light liquid fraction outlet branch pipe is located between the vertical dividing baffle and the overflow baffle, the drain tray, coupled from the side of the gas-liquid mixture inlet with the upper edge of the vertical distribution baffle, is equipped with a basket filled with Raschig rings made of functional ceramic material capable of effectively coagulating the dispersed liquid phase contained in the liquid part of the gas-liquid mixture, the inlet to the basket is coupled with an overflow tray from the side of the gas-liquid mixture outlet from it, the bottom of the basket is located from the lower generatrix of the separator at a distance of 0.05 to 0.4 of the separator diameter, and a louver package is installed between the basket and the branch pipe for withdrawing the heavy liquid fraction.

EFFECT: intensification of the process of separation of liquid phases contained in a gas-liquid mixture, improvement of the quality of separation of these phases with a simultaneous decrease in the volume of the separator.
