SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to options of the implementation of a system for holding passengers and a method for holding passengers. Holding system 18 for passengers includes a holding means and locking mechanism 60, and illumination system 50 that includes a set of light sources. At least part of the set of light sources is integrated with the holding means. In addition, illumination system 50 receives an indicator relatively to a configuration of locking mechanism 60, performs the first light scheme via the set of light sources, when the indicator indicates an unlocked configuration, and performs the second light scheme via the set of light sources, when the indicator indicates a locked configuration.
EFFECT: increase in the safety is provided.
