FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices used in the field of studying the microscopic structure of biological objects. A rotary microtome containing a frame, an object holder, a flywheel, a knife holder with a clamping cutting vibrating device is disclosed. In this case, the cutting device is a metal H-shaped frame, on the sides of which stretched straight elastic springy metal tapes are fixed, a metal substrate with a plate for installing and fixing the razor blade is attached to the middle part of the tapes, an electromagnetic anchor is installed on the outside of one metal tape and an electromagnetic core is fixed on the same side of the frame, interconnected with an electric pulse generator installed opposite, which in working condition supplies electrical impulses, equal to the resonant frequency of elastic bands, providing uniform longitudinal translational movements of the substrate with a razor blade and obtaining slices of living plant tissue fixed in the object holder between layers of soft material.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain sections on living tissues, reduces the cost of adjusting and repairing the cutting device.
