FIELD: mining; construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining and construction; it can be used in manual drilling machines and punchers intended for drilling boreholes in rock formations. A shock-rotary mechanism includes a case, a piston-hammer, a drill shank and a rotary axle box made in the form of a helicoidal pair, a ratchet mechanism installed on the rotary axle box. The rotary axle box is connected to a rod of the piston-hammer by a slotted connection and is made with the possibility of providing rotation of the drill shank relatively to the rotary axle box along helicoidal thread without turnaround during the working stroke of the piston-hammer and with the possibility of its rotation with the piston-hammer and the drill shank during idle running of the piston-hammer.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of cleavage, which will allow for increasing drilling rate indicators.
