SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of a box for confectionery products formed from sheet material, mainly cardboard, paper, by bending elements of one blank and can be used in the packaging industry. What is new is that it is equipped with a retainer containing a base and a protrusion. The retainer is formed from a sheet. The base is fixed to the lateral vertically oriented section of the wall of one embedded cavity in such a way that the protrusion is rotatable relative to the base and the section of the sheet adjacent to the base by folding the sheet material. In the lateral vertically oriented section of the wall of another embedded cavity, an opening is made, located relative to the protrusion in such a way that when the cover is placed between the embedded cavities, the protrusion becomes possible to be placed in the hole. The latch is installed with the possibility of placement between the side vertically oriented sections of the wall of the embedded cavities.
EFFECT: increasing the stability and rigidity of the box structure for the case when the box is open, access to both embedded cavities is provided, the cover is placed between the wall sections of the embedded cavities.
