SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a paper-making machine and a method for controlling the paper-making machine containing: a) a monitoring system comprising: one or more sensors that monitor a sheet of paper on the paper machine in one or more areas along the paper machine, one or more sensors include: one or more sensors with a large angle of inclination, which are located at an angle to the sheet of paper on the paper machine, while one or more sensors with a large angle are a camera that takes still images, moving images or both, the camera is angled to monitor the sheet of paper on the paper machine; and one or more light sources interacting with one or more sensors; and b) the control system connected to one or more sensors and one or more sections of hydrofoils inside the paper machine; the control system is designed to measure the formation of fibers inside the sheet of paper on the paper machine. A control method is proposed that includes: a) monitoring of one or more areas of thepaper machine to obtain current images of one or more areas; and b) comparing current images with reference images, respectively, to determine the difference in the formation of one or more areas; and the method includes a stage of predicting the formation of paper on the paper machine based on its current images to create a predictable formation.
